Along the Molignée...
Anhée is a magical place... Here, you can pedal on the rails, snails are famous, the villages are authentic, two abbeys talk almost side by side, the water gardens work without mechanism and the vines grow in a castle. Is it the Molignée that, like an enchanted river, gives the commune its magical flavour? No one knows.
Follow the Molignée by car, bike or scooter and pass under the 7 stone bridges (8 if you count the old railway footbridge), all of which are gateways to new discoveries! Don't forget to visit the Haut-le-Wastia memorial museum and don't leave without trying the Maredsous cheese croque-monsieur accompanied by the beer of the same name. Finally, for a taste of the region, a visit to Jonathan's "Vachement ferme" is a must! You won't regret your stay in Anhée!
