Dinant, tu renaîtras !
Only available in French
“Dinant tu renaitras” is in a way the sequel to “Dinant, August 1914, les rives sanglantes” published four years earlier. In this first book, it was about the massacres perpetrated in the city of Copères during the Great War.
The illustrated book is divided into two parts. The first part pays tribute to heroic figures such as the Dutch vice-consul Willem van Rijckevorsel and the co-pilot of the tug Atlas V, Charles Balbour. The second part is related to the laborious reconstruction of Dinant in the 1920s.
