Lumière sur le vitrail - exposition

The church in Falaën is hosting CIPAR's educational travelling exhibition on the theme of stained glass. 

Entitled Lumière sur le vitrail, it is divided into sixteen panels. 

The exhibition begins by explaining the presence of historiated and coloured walls in our religious buildings. It then gives a historical overview of the art of stained glass and the evolution of its forms over the centuries. Particular attention has been paid to production in the 19th and 20th centuries, a major period in the production of stained glass in Wallonia. The exhibition then becomes more practical, with a description of the technical aspects of stained glass.
