The "Passeur d'eau" in Waulsort

Wallonia's last remaining feryboat can be found in Waulsort !

This public service has been in operation since 1871, originally to enable the residents of Falmignoul to catch the train in Waulsort.

Out of season, the crossing is made via the Waulsort dam, 500 metres away.

From 18/10/2025 to 03/11/2025: daily from 10 am to 6 pm

Outside opening periods, the river can be crossed on foot or by bike via the Waulsort dam, 500m upstream.
