Journeys in Pataphonia

The Maison de la Pataphonie, a space for sound escapism...

Embark on an original adventure where any everyday object becomes a musical instrument... The Zygzaboule, the aqualubic river, the Métalodie, the Wall of Sound and many other oddities await you.

The Maison de la Pataphonie is a place where you can escape into the world of sound and discover unsuspected resonances. We'll cross the different provinces of this land, discovering in turn the patatropical jungle, the aqualubic river, the cave uncovered by Pierre Galet, the Great Sampler and even the Wall of Sound for the luckiest among you. Designed by Max Vandervorst and built by Amalgames, this unique intrumentarium has grown considerably over the years and is constantly evolving thanks to the inventiveness of the two Pataphons who live here.

In the birthplace of Adolphe Sax, the Maison de la Pataphonie, housed in one of Dinant's oldest houses, is a veritable tribute to instrumental invention, where you'll leave with your eyes sparkling, your ears perked up and your patamusical envy. All ages will enjoy the fun and interactive entertainment provided by the Pataphons.
