Petits gris Namur
The Explore Meuse region is proud of its exceptional heritage, especially in the culinary field. Over the years, the area has developed several specialties that are just waiting to be discovered! The local producers and artisans in the Namur and Dinant region welcome you with open arms to let you taste their delicious regional products.

The treasures of the great Namur estates

Explore Meuse is a region with many hidden treasures. The valley of the Meuse is conveniently located for growing vines. It is on these sunny slopes that the Chateau Bon Baron produces a variety of “appellation contrôlée” wines. A little further is the Chateau de Bioul, a real gem. Whether you are looking for a location for your wedding reception, a seminar or team building, the castle is perfect for your event! Come and admire our vineyards and follow the whole process of wine production, not to mention the small tasting at the end of your visit. Everything is, as the name of the estate’s museum suggests, “made in Bioul”! The Chenoy estate cannot be surpassed: also located in a beautiful green setting, it offers you the possibility to rent a reception room for a day and visit its vineyards.

Namur is not all about wine and beer (although La Houppe is well worth a look!). Another beverage that also deserves your full attention is undoubtedly our coffee! The coffee, drunk daily by thousands of Walloons, is roasted by the well-known Namur company Delahaut. It specialises in roasting beans and also sells biscuits and chocolates that are usually served with coffee in the afternoon. Do not hesitate to visit the shop and discover their Namur regional products!

Li P’tite Brèssène

Li p'tite Brèssène: happiness is in the hops! Although Nadine and Etienne have worked with many food products for family consumption, it was their interest in beer that led them to set up a cosy micro-brewery in their home. From their passion, a good-hearted brew was born, which speaks to the spirit and conviviality. They welcome you with a smile to give you an unforgettable beer experience. You won’t leave without a smile on your face and especially not without a beer under your arm!

The Château de Bioul

For Château de Bioul, a wine, a heritage! Andy and Vanessa dreamed of spending their old age amongst the vineyards. Fortunately, they discovered Belgian wine, had the right idea not to wait and left everything behind to settle in the family castle. They are now the happy owners of 11 hectares of vines that they grow without chemicals and with music! Their wines are fruity, their bubbles sparkling. You can simply taste their bottled passion. Open the doors of the castle, discover, taste and above all, enjoy!
