Château de Spontin
The superb Château de Spontin, the first traces of which date back to the 13th century, is located in Spontin, in the geographical centre of Wallonia.
It is one of the only castles in Belgium to still have an authentic drawbridge.
The castle illustrates the evolution of a stately home from the Middle Ages to the present day.
The facade was even chosen to illustrate a postage stamp and the adventures of Bob Morane !
